Saw this curious looking block of hay, or whatever they call it, by the road side yesterday. Anyone dropped their horses' feed? No? Cows maybe?
I think it is used to cover the soil around decorative plants. I've always seen them spread over but never in one big block. Kind of interesting, or maybe I'm just easily amused, way too easy...
Is it just me or does this image reminds you of one of those alien horror movies; you know, the one with dry dead bush roll around a deserted small town, a mode of mobilization disguise for the nasty buggers while hunting for prey? One of them saying "let's roll"...?
Does anyone know the title of that movie?

That looks like Damansara Jaya is it? Inever saw they put such big bundle of hay also
ReplyDeleteThis is in damasara utama where I work. Yeap, I'm sure most of us don't see this often, or ever.
ReplyDeleteA little bit off topic : What camera are you using? The bokeh in some of your shots is amazing and that sharpness... can't be a compact for sure.
ReplyDeleteIzzo, I use Olympus mju 840, as my masthead displays, most of the times. The worst picture quality would be from my nokia 6500 classic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the generous compliments, but I haven't got my own dslr to immerse myself in the magical world of single lens reflex, let alone bokeh. Probably next year, when I'm done paying my car... that is if another car doesn't drive me mad.
I do have the liberty to use my friend's idle canon EOS 50d but still, carrying it around everywhere, for my everyday visual encounters doesn't seem convenient. So it sits in the cabinet collecting dust. I hope my own will fare better in the future.
I make the best of what I have, my trusty mju 840. I just have to keep on clicking and viewing till I get the perfect shot; one of compacts' many, many disadvantages, I know.
Oh hey, if your friend is interested in selling his 50D, please let me know at izsocool@yahoo.com.
ReplyDeleteI'm sourcing for a good SLR.
And I'm kinda anti Olympus purely for it's sheer difficulty-ness. It's so irrirating to use I boycott it. But then again it could be my own stupidity so no further comments..
