Sweet Longan

I was at a friend's house in USJ Subang last Saturday when we realized that his longan tree bears fruits!  My friend works in Singapore so he is seldom at home.  Only on weekends, once or twice a month.  The fallen branch with crispy dried leaves had to be cleared.

It was my first time seeing a longans still attached to the tree so the 'sampat' me took loads of picture. Hope you like them.

They look like grapes don't they?

The flesh is sweet and juicy, although still not firm, because they squirt when opened.  Ever heard of the song Longan tree?  No?

Ok, it's Lemon Tree.
