It's pretty easy to find. Just get yourself on Jalan Semenyih from Cheras Kajang Highway or Silk or Lekas. Once you're driving along Jalan Semenyih, the most important landmark is the Petronas service station (the only petrol station) on your right. That's your cue to turn left and drive on. If you see Nottingham University on your left along the way, you're on the right track. Signs to Broga is easily spotted. You'll know you've arrived at the parking spot when you see many cars parked by the roadside. Find a parking spot, get down, join the crowd and hike up the oil palm estate path. Signs to the peaks are prominently displayed along the way. Have fun!
We arrived late and the sun was about to show itself as we started our journey.
Nevertheless, the view was just as nice and motivating. Even if we missed the sunrise, the morning rays cast upon the hills would give a different perspective, amazing all the same.
There were so many people already up there since it was a public holiday. Some have already began to walk down after enjoying the sunrise.
It's nice to see other mammals enjoying the scenic hike.
Not all humans have black hair.

ReplyDeleteIs there public toilets on the way up?
ReplyDeleteAngel, there is one kampung style toilet along the oil palm estate path, before the trek begins. However, it's just the size of a portable toilet, built with wood and zinc. There is no bowl whatsoever, just direct exit to the ground. I guess it's just good for peeing (standing, that is). The hike up provides no relief for nature calls. The catch is to be one with nature should you be pressed to answer, big or small, fluid or soild, whatever form it may be.
